A NEW WORLD IS COMING! WILL YOU BE A PART OF IT?

by Charles Kimbrough

At the writing of this article former President Jimmy Carter is in Boznia, HerzeGovina trying to bring peace in that troubled area where the Serbs and Moslems have been fighting for the last five hundred years. Carter feels, as a "born-again follower" of Jesus Christ, that he has to try wherever he can to bring peace, just as he did between Egypt and Israel while he was still president. Early last year, he was successful in toning down the rhetoric between North Korea and Washington over atomic weapons. Carter then got involved in the Haiti situation when he brought about a peaceful solution to the entry of American troops into Haiti. Not one American was killed.

The press and most of Washington resent his interfering. Their whole concern seems to be that he might agree to something that they might have to accept. They say he is only after the Nobel Peace Prize, and they call him a loose cannon. We wish him well. After all, did not Jesus say, "Blessed is the peacemaker for he shall find peace." If I did NOT know better, one could say he is

the false Messiah, the man that will negotiate the final peace agreement in the mideast; for he, the false Messiah, will appear to the world as the real peacemaker, Jesus Christ. Jimmy Carter's success or failure is not the point, the point is there is going to be peace in former Yugoslavia and total world peace for a short period of time.

What is going on now is a feeble attempt by man to set up a one world government to rule all of mankind. The excuse for it is to prevent another WORLD WAR which, by all calculation, will destroy mankind as we know it, if Jesus Christ did not intervene. Former President Carter is a part of man's attempt, NOT GOD's. It is truly an attempt by Lucifer, Satan the devil, to overthrow and to prevent Jesus Christ from setting up the Kingdom of God on this Earth. It will be a COUNTERFEIT Kingdom of God. The real danger is that a lot of good people, who claim to be Christians, are going to follow this counterfeit PEACE MAKER that is coming. He will not appear as another Hitler or Saddam Hussein. He will appear as an ANGEL of LIGHT, performing great miracles and will appear to be Jesus. 2nd Thess 2:9 says, "the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs and lying wonders," :10 "and with all unrighteous deceptions, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved." The key word here is Lawless. He will be preaching on law, saying that the laws of God are done away with, that the Ten Commandments are no longer required for Christianity, that the Fourth Commandment has been done away with, that the Church has had the authority to change it from Saturday to Sunday; the SUN god's day of worship. Verse 11-12 says, "and for this reason God will send them strong delusions that they should believe a lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness." That happens to be referring to people who claim to be followers of Christ.

For a short period of time, man is going to succeed in his attempt to bring about a semblance of world peace. Rev. 6:2 reads, "and I looked and behold a white horse (peace horse, a white flag of truce) and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown (rulership) was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer." In other words, he has the powers to bring about world peace. The reason we know this is found in the next two verses. Verse 3 says, "when he opened the second seal, I heard the living creature saying, `Come and see'." Verse 4, "And another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted unto the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth and that the people should kill one another and there was given to him a great sword." COMMENT: In order to take peace from the earth there has to be PEACE. This world peace will start the last seven years before the return of the REAL JESUS CHRIST. The last week of Daniel's 70 weeks (Dan 9:27).

Several years ago, I said there was going to be peace in South Africa and Ireland as well as Afghanistan, and that the last place to have peace would be Jerusalem. Few believed me then; most did not and still don't. There is going to be peace in former Yugoslavia and all over this world brought about by the FALSE world savior. MAN-MADE PEACE IS COMING!

THEN COMES the red horse and worldwide war, the worst since man has been on this earth. Billions are going to die from the hydrogen bombs and the pestilence. EARTHQUAKES WILL BE RAMPANT WITH TIDAL WAVES IN ALL THE OCEANS. Food is going to be so SCARCE that people who survive the bomb attacks will be killing one another for a scrap of bread or a glass of muddy water. Animals will be attacking and killing people with a VENGEANCE. YES, and true followers are going to die for their preached word and their witness testimony of the REAL TRUTH. YES, THIS WILL HAPPEN ON THIS EARTH. PEOPLE WILL BE CRYING OUT, "WHERE IS THE RAPTURE?" THEN MAYBE THEY WILL REALIZE THEIR PREACHERS WERE LYING TO THEM, THAT JESUS' SECOND COMING HAS NOT HAPPENED YET. You need to know and understand; there is no secret coming of JESUS or a secret rapture.

There is going to be a world ruling government established on the earth VERY SOON; however, NOT by man but by God and Jesus at His 2nd coming. Then, and only then, will we have true peace. The reward of being in the first resurrection is to be with Jesus and, "WE WILL BE MADE KINGS AND PRIESTS OF OUR GOD AND WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH", Rev 5:10. "...And they lived and reigned with Christ for 1000 years", Rev 20:4.

There IS good news coming BUT, the bad news of the tribulation comes first. Some might question how to escape the bad and receive the good. I'm glad you asked. On the day of Pentecost, Peter preached a powerful sermon to the Jews of his day who were cut to their heart when they realized what they had done by crucifying Jesus. They asked a similar question of Peter and his answer was Acts 2:38, "Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins and you shall receive the Holy Spirit." You might say, `I have already been baptized'. A lot of people have! Millions have worshiped Jesus! Millions have been baptized. However, most have never repented of their sins, mainly because their preachers do not know nor teach them what SIN REALLY is. As hard as it might seem, most so-called Christians think their membership in some Church is going to save them. Yes, and most don't believe that they have to do anything to be saved, that it is all free and all you have to do is to mouth the words that they "accept Jesus as their personal savior" and then go right on living and doing as they have been.

Peter said REPENT OF SIN! Then if that is the case, and it is, we need to know what sin is so we can know what to repent of. 1 John 3:4 tells us what sin is: "Whoever commits sin also commits LAWLESSNESS AND SIN IS LAWLESSNESS." The GOD of heaven on Mount Sinai codified the TEN COMMANDMENTS on tablets of stone for all mankind. Originally they were given to Adam and Eve for all of mankind at creation. Those same commandments are the laws we have to live by; and that includes the 4th commandment which says, "Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy." The Sabbath day was NOT GIVEN JUST TO THE JEWS, BUT TO ALL OF MANKIND. READ Gen 2:2. GOD says in Exodus 31:17, "It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the 7th day He rested and was refreshed." Right about now someone is saying HEY, WAIT A MINUTE! I'M NOT AN ISRAELITE! IF YOU CLAIM TO BE A CHRISTIAN, then you are claiming to be an Israelite having been grafted into the olive tree. Read the 11th chapter of Romans. The Sabbath day is still binding on all Christians, without exception.

When we break one of GOD's laws, and we all at times do, we are required to repent of that breaking. We are not saved by keeping the commandments, we are saved by grace. HOWEVER, we are not saved until we TRULY REPENT. To continue breaking the Sabbath is not true repentance. Jesus said in Luke 6:46, "why do you call me Lord Lord and do not do the things I say." In Matt 5:17 Jesus says "Do not think that I have come to destroy the law or the prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill." The word fulfill does not mean to do away with, it means to magnify or to make greater, to amplify. Then He says, "For assuredly I say to you till heaven and earth pass away one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law (the Torah, which is the first five books of Moses) till all is fulfilled," (emphasis mine). Jesus went on in Matthew 5, 6 and 7 to amplify the Law by making it a "spiritual" breaking or keeping of the commandments. Murder no longer meant just to kill someone physically. He said if you hated some one that constituted murder. Spiritually, adultery is lusting in your heart. Christ spiritualizes the commandments; read the Bible in those terms and you will come to understand what fulfill really means.

Yes there is good news for those who truly have repented. Where will you be when the tribulation comes? What will you be doing? I wonder, will it take going through the GREAT TRIBULATION to get the millions of so-called followers of Jesus Christ to open up their Bibles and start investigating the doctrines that they are being taught? We hope that just reading this article might cause a few to investigate and prove what they believe. Then they can receive the protection that is granted by God to those who show their love for him by following and practicing His laws. I WONDER; HOW ABOUT YOU?

FEAST OF TABERNACLES OCTOBER 11 THRU 18

This year God's Church will have the opportunity to enjoy the Feast of Tabernacles in a truly old fashioned "campmeeting" setting in BIG RIDGE STATE PARK, a few miles north of Knoxville, Tennessee.

This beautiful park is located near Norris Lake and the Appalachian Trail. Cabins and camping spaces are available in a quiet wooded setting. All of the facilities are discussed in the article on page 2 with instructions on how to make plans and reservations.

The large lodge hall is equipped with a professional type kitchen and will be available for use as an assembly room for services and group dining. We will have the unique opportunity to prepare and serve meals together in our own facility.

There are playgrounds for children, paddleboats and canoes on the lake, hiking trails for all ages, a baseball diamond, a volleyball court and fishing areas right within the campground.

Within just a few miles from the park are numerous natural attractions and historic sites including the fabulous Museum of Appalachia and the Oak Ridge Museum of Atomic Energy.

Families and individuals will find BIG RIDGE STATE PARK an ideal and beautiful wooded setting in which to observe God's Fall Festival in the true spirit of separation from the world and closeness of Christian fellowship.

God has already placed His name here. The nearby town is called BETHEL which means "house of God"!

TENNESSEE F.O.T. 1995

by Mark Carr

For several years I have enjoyed observing the Feast of Tabernacles with a great many of you who read this. Each year it seemed as though it "couldn't get much better than this". However, deep down inside I knew there was something more we could do. Of course, we all know that we won't have a "perfect Feast" until Jesus returns and we observe it with Him in Jerusalem. However, I knew we could do better than we were; I just didn't know how.

Last year when Charles Kimbrough decided to put his house up for sale so he and Nadine could move to Tennessee, we decided to try and find a site in the Knoxville area to hold the Feast of Tabernacles in 1995. Many of you from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Alabama, etc., have asked us to have a site closer than Florida. After several months of searching we found a promising candidate; a 3,687-acre Big Ridge State Park just north of Knoxville. It is only 12 miles from I-75 and is centrally located within a days drive from over 50% of the population of the United States.

After phoning the park officials we drove out to check the site. To get there, you drive to the park on a beautiful road with mountain views. The fall colors will be at their peak in October and it will be gorgeous. After you drive through the park, there is a private road that goes from the lake to the group camp. Since the road was closed for winter, we parked the car and walked. Our prayers had been answered! What we found was exactly what Charles and I had pictured. There is a lodge with a large meeting and dining room, it has a "mess hall" kitchen with restaurant type stoves and a walk-in cooler. Surrounding this are individual cabins in a picturesque mountain setting.

Inside the large meeting room of the lodge is a huge stone fireplace where we can gather around a blazing fire at night to sing songs, study the Bible and fellowship! Those of you who decide to keep the Feast in Tennessee will experience a closeness like you never have in the past. With meals prepared at the lodge, we will eat, study, play and pray together (of course you can cook your own meals if you want to). Friendships will be formed that will last into the Kingdom.

On the drive home from the camp we were checking out the area and looking for restaurants, etc. As we entered the first town, the sign said it all, Bethel. This is a Hebrew word that means House of God. Right then and there we knew that this is where we would have our site in Tennessee. "You shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you and your son and your daughter, ...at the place where the LORD your God chooses to make His name abide, (Deu 16:11).

We have reserved the entire complex for eight days. This includes the lodge and cabins for sleeping. The cabins at the group camp are simple rustic structures that sleep six to eight people each. These cabins surround two bathhouses with hot showers and toilet facilities. In addition to this, the park rents 56 campsites with water and electric hookups, picnic tables and grills for $13 a night. There are also 19 cottages that sleep six people with two double beds and a hide-a-bed sofa. They have fireplaces, screened- in porches and are equipped for light housekeeping. All linens and cooking and dining utensils are furnished. These rent for $50 to $60 a night.

If you are going to stay in a campsite or a cottage YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE A RESERVATION TODAY! At the time this article was written these were available, but if you wait, THEY WILL BE GONE! Call (615) 992-5523 and reserve your spot TODAY. Tell them you are staying with the 7TH Day Church of God that has reserved the group camp and you want a campsite or a cottage. If you are going to stay in a cabin at the lodge, call us at (904) 382-0877 and let us know; you need to register with us.

The reason for the urgency in registering today is that from October 12th through the 15th the nearby Museum of Appalachia holds their homecoming and about 25,000 people will be there for this event. Available motels and other accommodations for this are being reserved today.

Many of you have stayed at Feast sites in Lake Guntersville and Big Sandy, etc. Others have come from Churches that have campmeetings like the Seventh-Day Adventists; this will be similar to those. If you desire to return to your roots in an "old fashioned" style Feast where there is love, sharing and fellowship with one purpose, worshiping God, THIS IS THE PLACE!

In the next Sentinel we will have more details of how to register with us and planned events at the numerous local attractions. We will also provide more information on camper and trailer rentals for the campsites. As you can see from the pictures, this will be a great place to fellowship and worship God.

THE GENESIS OF MANKIND

by Jack Morgan

People who work in the field of Anthropology and Paleontology along with many others have promoted the theory of evolution, saying mankind was in existence long before the Garden of Eden history took place as recorded in the Bible.

What they fail to understand is this. Regardless of the bones, tools, pottery or even structures they might find, it makes absolutely no difference. No creature, regardless of what it might look like, will have been one of mankind if it did not have a human Spirit, capable of understanding "good" and its opposite "evil" which is defined by the Law of Life.

Understanding the book of Genesis is crucial, for it is a foundation; and if a misinterpretation is made it may adversely affect many beliefs or doctrines causing much confusion and division.

Such is the case in this supposed "FALL OF MAN" theory found in Genesis chapter three. The various explanations given by theologians, of the two trees in Genesis 2 and 3, have not been totally satisfying to most Bible students.

The account we find in chapter three is often referred to as "the Fall of man." This phrase seems to have its roots in Roman Catholic and Protestant theology. It is the first basis of the doctrines of "Universal Sin" and "Immortal Soul".

I believe we must admit, without question, that Adam and Eve knew right from wrong and did disobey God when they partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Right and wrong and good and evil are not the same thing.

Accountability for their disobedience, however, should be examined if we consider what God said in reference to their act in verse 22. He said, "Behold! the man is become as one of us." The two words is become clearly show a change has taken place. What was this change? Also, when we consider the entire scripture and its admonitions to follow (imitate, become like minded). Is there really anything wrong with Adam and Eve becoming "as one of us", or somehow like their creator God? I think not.

Perhaps there is here we have overlooked in the past. We should remember this is the very beginning of the creation of man, and that it is the Spirit, mind, and heart which is most important.

We should note, God does not accuse them of sin, but puts a burden on Eve and curses the ground for Adam's "sake." He also tells them the decision has now been made that they will return to THE DUST, i.e. mankind will be mortal. Why? Because He gave them the freedom to choose and He (God) does not know if they will choose the path of Good or Evil.

As for their accountability, we should consider James 4:17, "to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin." We must conclude then, accountability comes with knowing, understanding or comprehension. It is interesting to note that beasts are called evil in several places in the scriptures, but they are never referred to as sinners. This is because they do not know, and cannot know because their spirit is incapable of understanding the Law of God which defines good and evil.

Paul notes in I Corinthians 2:11 that man knows the things of a man by or because of the Spirit which is in him. He then points out in verse 12 that the Spirit of God, i.e., the Holy Spirit, makes us able to know the things of God, as does John in 4:13. "We know because He has given us of His Spirit."

The pivotal question then is, were their eyes open to knowing before they ate? God said, in Gen 3:22 "Behold, the man is become as one of us", (able) to know (comprehend) good and evil.

Josephus states, the tree "sharpened" their understanding. This is true, for in Gen 2:25 we find "They were both naked and not ashamed." And the first thing noted after they had eaten of the tree, 3:7 "Their eyes were opened and they knew they were naked." Have you ever known of an animal whose eyes were open to the fact they were naked? Who is it that opens eyes, gives sight to the blind? We should not forget the Creator set up this whole garden. He allowed the serpent to be there, and knew what he was doing. God allows and uses Satan; remember Job, and also remember God is the master potter (Romans 9:21).

He is the Creator and man is being created here. Physically, the man is complete, but not spiritually; and in this part of his creation the man is allowed to participate. God allowed him to choose between the two trees. However, their eyes(minds) were closed. They did not know (comprehend) good and evil before eating.

ERDMANS INTERNATIONAL STANDARD BIBLE ENCYCLOPEDIA. Vol III, p.3009, Item 2 says the word tree is used as a common poetic simile to represent a "source" or the word "source." I believe we have to conclude the tree represented the human Spirit, which was then to be given to all humanity. They became moral creatures. The Apostle Paul explains this very well in I Cor 2:10-16. For it is the Spirit that gives us the ability to know. Mankind is the only species God has given the Spiritual ability to comprehend good and evil. This is a God-like ability that He gave Adam and Eve. Thus they became, from God's point of view, "as one of us" (Gen 3:22).

This Spirit and their advanced abilities made necessary a new environment and placed upon them responsibilities. That is why God placed a curse upon the ground "for Adam's sake," multiplied Eve's sorrow in childbirth, required clothing, etc. (Gen 3).

Why has it not been recognized that they came to know good when they ate of the fruit? God's conclusion has been ignored, (Gen 3:22). Everyone points out the word "evil" and gives no heed to the fact they also acquired the knowledge of "good", or the ability to know good.

We should also consider this: if they had full moral faculties before they ate of the fruit, as most people believe, then should they have eaten of the Tree of Life? If they had refused, they would have become immortal Souls. Is that the kind of Creator we serve, who would set a trap like that for His children? Well, of course not. Our respect and admiration should grow as we grow in Spiritual understanding. Commanded and demanded love out of fear is not the way of our friend, Jesus, whom we should grow to be Like.

This "Fall of Man" doctrine, and all of the accompanying confusing verbiage that has been set forth, makes no sense in light of the rest of God's Word.

Now the next question, what about the other tree, the Tree of Life, which was not forbidden and is called, The Source of Life Forever?

The sixth chapter of John can help us here. Note verse 51; Jesus said, "I AM the living bread that came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever. Verse 54, "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood hath Eternal Life". And, as "there is no other way" to eternal life, there must be a connection between Jesus and the Tree of Life. We find this connection in Acts 5:30 and 13:29. He gave His Flesh and Blood for mankind as he was hanged on a tree. We are to go to this source or Tree of Life and partake of it as we are instructed in I Cor 11:24-25. This, then, is Christ in us as the Holy Spirit.

Now it becomes clear how SIN entered by one man, Adam, who chose this human spirit for us, giving us the ability to sin. The second Adam, Jesus, took away our sins and now gives us His Holy Spirit, the Seed of Eternal Life, (Rom 5:12-21).

Many have asked, what would the life of mankind have been like had Adam and Eve eaten of the Tree of Life? The answer is clear and simple. It would have been as it is going to be in the Millennium.

In Joel 2:28 God says, "I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, I will remove their stony heart and give them a heart of flesh." Children will be born with the Holy Spirit as John the Baptist was. Thy Kingdom Come.

THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS

by Charles Kimbrough

Last September, one afternoon after bowling, I felt so bad and weak that I went to the doctor who sent me to the hospital and there they found out that I had congestive heart failure. After several tests were made it was determined that one of the arteries on my heart was 100% blocked and that two others were partially blocked. I was moved to the Heart Institute at Ocala on Friday, the 23rd. Early Saturday morning the doctor informed me that during the night that my heart had stopped three different times, once for six seconds. Needless to say, they immediately installed a temporary pacemaker. On Monday, September 26th, I was given a permanent pacemaker and triple heart bypass surgery. The problem with the heart stopping has existed for over 25 years. The good news is this. Due to the answered prayers of many of you, I feel better than I have felt for many, many years. MANY THANKS FOR ALL OF THOSE GET WELL CARDS, LETTERS AND PHONE CALLS.

UNISON IN MOTION

by Eva Hale

Lev 23:34, "Speak to the children of Israel, saying: `The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days to the LORD." I am not a writer, but would like to try my hand at expressing my great joy after attending one of the most beautiful Feast of Tabernacles at Panama City Beach, Florida. My husband and I have attended the Feast of Tabernacles for twenty-three years. This Feast was, without doubt, the most one-minded Feast of all.

We both felt GOD's Spirit was with His people. We could feel His love flow through all His people. The fruits of His Spirit were there (Gal.5:22), the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Matt 5:13-14 says, "You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world. Let your light so shine..." The light of His people was very bright. I'm sure GOD was well pleased as their lights shone.

There was much involvement in fellowship, singing, special music and speaking. Many new friendships were made and old ones renewed. Not just my husband and I felt and saw this one-mindedness, or unison; I'm sure others, or let's say all GOD's people there felt like we did.

We thank GOD for the privilege to have been there. We are so full of GOD's Spirit and love that we can go another year and do His will. We have been filled with His love for one another. I hope to spread His love like living waters. I know GOD has blessed each and every one of us. If only we knew how much! I am already planning for the Feast of Tabernacles October 11, 1995. GOD be with you till we meet again.

HELP!

by Eva Hale and Kay Granade

Most of us will agree this year's Feast of Tabernacles was the "best yet". We may be small, but "big" is not always better. Everyone felt the warmth and brotherhood around us as it should be in God's Church.

Some folks were very grateful to be at the Feast because someone cared and helped them financially. In talking, some of the ladies asked themselves, "What can we come up with to help others in need so they can come to the Feast and share in this wonderful time?" Someone said, "How about a cookbook?" That sounded like a GREAT IDEA! This is another way the ladies of the Church can contribute and serve in God's work.

We want to compile a cookbook of favorite recipes. All categories will be accepted (casseroles, meats, salads, desserts, etc). We will have a special section for unleavened breads and other recipes suitable for the Days of Unleavened Bread. We prefer original recipes that your family loves to eat. The bottom line is "Let's do it!" The proceeds will go into a special fund to assist those who need help at the Feast of Tabernacles. There will be several of us ladies in the Homosassa Church putting this cookbook together, but we need the help of everyone to make this project happen. We, the women of the United Biblical Church of God at Homosassa, Florida thank you very much for any recipes you can contribute.

Our local pastors, Charles Kimbrough and Art Humphrey, liked the idea and said we should advertise in the Sentinel. Send your recipes to us The Jerusalem Sentinel.

JUST A MOMENT OF THOUGHT

by Ruth Ann Humphrey

For just a moment let us slip back into the past, before man on the moon. Our dream world, could there be a man in the moon? Or is it possible that the moon is made of green cheese? Could there be mountains, streams and forests on the moon?

Man's landing on the moon brought the realization that the beautiful jewel in the heaven is just a ball of rock. My dream world was shattered. I wondered, why a ball of rock orbiting the earth?

A few years later I started learning the Bible. What it really says, not just a religious point of view or a man's interpretation, but what the Bible really says.

Please read what the Bible says about the moon. God created the moon to orbit the earth for a reason, not a desolate waste. Gen 1:14-16; Psa 74:16; Psa 81:3; Psa 104:19; Psa 136:9; Joel 2:31; Hab 3:11; Mat 24:29; 1 Cor 15:41; Col 2:16; Rev 6:12; Rev 21:23.

Isn't it wonderful when we look to the Bible for our answers? Why not, the Eternal God who created everything also created a guide book for the man He formed out of the dust of the earth.

FEAST NEWS 1994

by Mark Carr

This Feast was one of the most enjoyable that we have ever had. There were many spiritual sermons and sermonettes given. God's Spirit was there to inspire everyone, both speakers and the congregation. I don't know where to begin, but from the introduction to the closing prayer on the Last Great Day, God's spirit of love and unity was experienced by all.

There were special events that most participated in; Ocean Opry, Bible studies, picnics, a pizza party, a swim party, a dance, the glass bottom boat, the fun show and the baby dedication. We were treated to some of the best special music we've ever had. There was a spirit of cooperation and giving that made everyone feel a part of this celebration to God.

Friends that we had not seen in many years were present, there were also new faces and new friendships made. These will last a lifetime and we all look forward to next year to see our spiritual brothers and sisters.

The following people delivered our spiritual messages, in order of speaking: Charles Kimbrough, Herb Solinsky, Joe Jones, Jack Morgan, Hagan Hale, Mark Carr, Nick Fladung, Art Humphrey, David Erman & George Arlen.

There are four people who worked very hard to make the Feast special for all of us. Bertha Reynolds who is legally blind and has learned to play the piano from memory for the songs we sing each year; Sheree Kessler who volunteered her beautiful voice by singing special music several days; and Mary Carr & Linda Lewallen who spent countless hours preparing and teaching the children's classes.

FROM SOUTH FLORIDA

The Lake Worth Congregation is happy to report a blessed Fall Festival. There were good sermons to help us learn to fear (love and obey) God, and good food & drink to cheer the soul. There were guests from California and Washington State to add to the fellowship. The weather was perfect. We all thank God for His many blessings.

If you want more information on this site for next year contact: Neville Gilbert, The Christian Church of God, P.O. Box 3827, Lantana, Florida 33462.

THE PRAYER CLOSET

Please pray for Stella Gibson from Maryville, Tennessee. She has been battling cancer for over two years now and is in a lot of pain.

She very badly wants to regain enough strength to start attending Church again. We look forward to her return and seeing her at the Feast this fall.

If you would like to write Stella, send your cards or letters to her 7TH Day Church of God, P.O. Box 70635, Knoxville, TN 37918 and we will forward them.

GOD'S HOLIDAYS

We will continue the next article in our series with Vol.4, No.2. This will be on the Feast of Tabernacles.

Due to the amount of material and the number of articles on the Feast in this issue we felt it was expedient to delay this series for one issue.
